Senior Medical Science Liaison Mid Germany Rare Disease / Tumour (all genders)

Overview

In this role you will act as a scientific expert in desmoid tumour therapy, driving engagement with the medical community and shaping regional medical strategy. You will build strong KOL relationships, support clinical development, and contribute to national and European medical programs. Expect cross-functional collaboration to inform patient outcomes and trial activities, while mentoring newer MSLs and supporting onboarding. This position offers meaningful impact in a specialty with potential to expand into other areas.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Serve as scientific expert and facilitate exchange of information with medical community
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs
  • Gather and communicate medical insights to inform strategy and patient outcomes
  • Support investigator-initiated research as primary liaison
  • Provide scientific support at congresses, advisory boards, and medical programs
  • Lead selected national medical projects and initiatives
  • Deliver clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited questions in academic and healthcare settings
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations to identify trial sites and support patient enrollment
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with medical strategy
  • Partner with HEOR/Market Access on health economics and outcomes data generation
  • Support Medical Information requests
  • Assist Country Medical Director in shaping national KOL engagement and medical plans
  • Mentor new or less experienced MSLs and support onboarding/training of field medical and commercial colleagues
  • Contribute to national and regional medical strategy as a senior team member
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of MSL experience
  • Experience in rare diseases preferred; oncology or neuroscience a plus
  • Strong ability to communicate and present complex scientific information
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver license
  • German native level, English fluent
