Senior Process Engineer - Pharma (m/w/d)

As a Process Engineer in Elanco’s vaccine production operations, you apply technical expertise across fermentation, lyophilization, aseptic filling, utilities, and packaging to drive reliability and product quality. You will lead process improvements, technology transfers, and scale-up efforts in a GMP environment, partnering with cross-functional teams. Your work centers on resolving complex process and equipment issues, driving deviations and CAPAs, and ensuring robust qualification and validation activities. • Provide SME-level engineering support for fermentation, lyophilization, aseptic filling, utilities, and packaging.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, technology transfers, and scale-up projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality.
• Manage deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in GMP settings.
• Lead root cause investigations and cross-functional task forces to resolve complex process or equipment issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to operational teams to drive operational excellence.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing within a GMP regulated environment
