Stellenbeschreibung:

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Designer to join the North team and help shape the future of enterprise AI. In this role, you will design intuitive experiences for complex AI‑driven workflows, working at the intersection of cutting‑edge technology and user needs. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and cross‑functional partners to deliver high‑quality experiences that make sophisticated AI capabilities accessible to users across organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the design process end‑to‑end for your product area, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and drive product impact.
  • Design intuitive, user‑friendly experiences that balance technical complexity with accessibility and ease of use.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Conduct user research to understand needs, validate design decisions and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Maintain a high craft and quality bar, ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and polished experience.
  • Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across the North platform.
  • Partner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and make pragmatic trade‑offs when needed.

You're Likely a Good Fit If You Have

  • Product Design Experience: 4+ years designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking and measurable impact on user outcomes.
  • AI and Agentic Fluency: A strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools and orchestrate multi‑step workflows. You stay current on AI trends and can design interactions that make complex agentic behaviours understandable and controllable for users.
  • Cross‑Functional Partnership: A collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, with Engineers to navigate technical constraints and review implementations, and with stakeholders across the organization to align on solutions.
  • User‑Centered Approach: A deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data and direct engagement. You drive research initiatives, translate findings into design decisions and stay informed on industry trends that shape the product landscape.
  • Design Excellence: Meticulous attention to craft and detail, proficiency in Figma, building scalable patterns and systems, and consistently elevating the quality of everything you touch. Bonus points for strong visual design skills in typography, layout, color and composition.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, proactive communication that keeps distributed teams aligned. You document decisions, articulate design rationale to diverse audiences and create shared understanding across geographies and disciplines.

We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities.

Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.

If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
