Senior Software Architect (m/f/d) Industrial AI & Automation

As Senior Solution Architect, you will design and scale data, analytics, and AI platforms that improve industrial processes. You’ll lead architectural discovery with clients, translate needs into reliable data products, and guide cross-disciplinary teams through delivery. You’ll work with OT, IT, and business stakeholders to shape solutions that ship in production, across cloud, on-prem, or edge. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge automation projects and a chance to influence how factories think and act through data and software.

• Lead technical discovery and architecture work with clients to define target architectures and tech stacks
• Design data architectures and data products for industrial environments, including infrastructure for reliability
• Identify AI value opportunities in engineering and industrial processes and translate into shippable solutions
• Coordinate with business, OT, and IT stakeholders and mentor internal teams on code reviews and architecture
• Contribute to sales support and delivery improvements within the BU

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles with a track record of delivering production-ready systems
• Strong foundation in ML and data engineering, with real-world data architectures
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Spark, Kafka, Airflow, MLflow, or similar ML frameworks
• Experience across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) plus on-premises/hybrid environments
• Industrial or enterprise context experience or rapid domain learning ability
• Fluent in German and English; university degree in a technical discipline
