(Senior) Software Engineer – Platform Development

In this role you will help build and enhance a company-wide software platform for GMP and RUO instruments. You will drive the platform roadmap, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. You will push the platform toward AI-first engineering and develop scalable, maintainable C++ solutions. You will work with biologists, IT, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Service, and Marketing to shape the future of our software ecosystem. • Contribute to platform roadmap and implementation
• Collaborate with project/program managers, software architects, feature owners, requirements engineers, UX/UI designers, developers, testers
• Drive technical advancement of the platform and ensure on-time delivery
• Develop innovative solutions used across software and instrument products
• Advance the platform with an AI-first engineering approach
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable C++ code and share knowledge with the team
• Collaborate with other departments (biologists, IT, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Service, Marketing)
• Support external stakeholder communications and contribute to strategic business decisions
• Provide input to shape the future of the global software development organization

• Degree in computer science (Bachelor or Master) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in C++/Qt (back-end and UI)
• Experience with multithreading and UI development
• Advocate of AI-first mindset with hands-on experience in AI-powered software development
• Experience with domain-driven design and Clean Architecture
• Strong knowledge of agile software development
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Qt-based UI development
• Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry or regulated software environments (IEC 62304) is a plus
