Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) Application Development

In this role you will develop software for control systems in power generation, perform commissioning and testing, and maintain application software. You will support the sales team and prepare technical documents. You will also work on HMI development and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable control solutions in harsh environments. • Software development and programming for control systems in power generation
• Commissioning and testing of software in applications and systems
• Maintenance and upkeep of application software
• Assisting the sales support team
• Preparation of technical manuals and specifications
• HMI development

• Experience in software development and programming, preferably with graphical programming
• Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field; or state-certified technician in electrical engineering/automation
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-based languages, Python and C
• Knowledge of interface protocols such as CAN and Ethernet (advantage)
• High degree of independence, personal responsibility and reliability
• Excellent German and English communication skills
