Senior Software Engineer, XR World Context

In this role you design and deploy lightweight scene representations for XR glasses, enabling context-aware AI and on-device understanding. You will build ego-centric datasets and evaluate fusion approaches for robust object- and scene-centric representations in real time. You’ll interface these representations with Gemini/Gemma variants to unlock spatial and voice-based interactions. You work across research and applied development to scale XR-enabled AI experiences.

• Design, implement, and deploy scene representations for XR glasses
• Create and curate ego-centric datasets for real-time perception
• Fuse and evaluate foundation models for robust object- and scene-centric representations
• Interface representations with Gemini/Gemma variants for on-device inference
• Support context-aware AI capabilities like voice-based spatial placement and on-device scene understanding
• Collaborate across research and product teams to deliver scalable XR solutions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions for XR AI pipelines
• Contribute to project planning, deadlines, and deliverables

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Vision, Robotics, 3D sensing, or related field
• 5 years of experience in Computer Vision, Robotics, or related fields
• Experience contributing to research in 3D surface reconstruction and semantic scene understanding
