Senior Solutions Architect, Higher Education and Research - Open Models and LLM

Overview

As a Solutions Architect, you partner with leading labs and researchers to translate scientific goals into scalable NVIDIA-based solutions. You’ll drive joint research projects at supercomputing scale and help researchers amplify impact through publications and talks. You will deliver hands-on training and demonstrations, mentoring power users to become NVIDIA champions. You’ll stay ahead of research trends, turning gaps into prototypical solutions and guiding engineering feedback. This role blends deep AI/HPC domain expertise with NVIDIA’s full platform to accelerate scientific discovery.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Partner with research labs and academia as a trusted technical advisor to understand their goals and drive joint research at HPC scale
  • Identify high-impact workloads and integrate NVIDIA frameworks and core software into research projects, supporting publications and conference content
  • Advocate for accelerated computing and Deep Learning through trainings, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations; mentor power users
  • Track emerging research trends and translate researcher needs into prototypical solutions with direct feedback to Engineering
  • Maintain deep domain expertise across GPUs, CPUs, networking, and software across the NVIDIA platform
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • 5+ years hands-on experience running the large language model lifecycle across multi-node systems: training, fine-tuning, inference, serving, and/or agentic workflows
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to engage with academic and research stakeholders and simplify complex ideas for expert and non-expert audiences
  • Action oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a lifelong learner with excellent organizational skills in a multi-tasked environment
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in Python
  • Graduate degree in a STEM-related discipline (as a minimum requirement)
