Senior Strategy Consultant (Marine Medium Speed Solutions)

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will shape Caterpillar’s marine strategy by translating market insights into product, solution, and services initiatives. You will act as the bridge among engineering, sales, and customers to ensure offerings meet market needs and drive long-term growth. You’ll work with global teams to align segments, launches, and GTM activities, contributing to sustainable, profitable marine growth.

• Serve as technical liaison among Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Account Managers, Dealers, and Customers to align requirements with product strategies
• Collaborate with global Sales teams to develop and execute long-term product, solutions, and services strategies for sustainable growth in marine
• Analyze marine market opportunities and OPACC pools to identify growth potential and strengthen Caterpillar’s market position
• Develop technical training plans and materials for new products, solutions, and services to support successful launches
• Identify global and regional market needs and provide content and value propositions to support go-to-market activities and product introductions
• Develop product and solution strategies aligned with Marine Segment Strategies and engage dealers and sales teams to communicate priorities and drive execution

• Proven experience in marine, offshore, or power systems with ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions
• Experience in marine engineering, operations, services, product support, product/project management, strategic planning, shipyards, port engineering, or marine classification and vessel surveying
• Proven success in strategy development, business growth, product management, or commercial leadership
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills; fluency in English; German an advantage
• Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience
