Overview

As Senior Systems Engineer you design and operate the trading infrastructure to deliver low-latency, highly available systems. You will work with cloud and on-premise environments to support the FX trading platform, reporting to the Head of Trading Infrastructure. You’ll tackle performance, security, and resilience challenges and mentor junior engineers. This role offers the chance to shape critical infrastructure for a leading trading platform while adopting cutting-edge technologies.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Lead architecture, deployment and management of servers, networks and storage
Design and maintain cloud and on‑premise solutions for scalability and availability
Participate in on-call change management (compensated)
Continuously optimize performance, security and resilience of infrastructure
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability
Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical excellence
Develop and document best practices, standards, and procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new technologies to drive efficiency

Zentrale Anforderungen

7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on infrastructure (cloud and on-premise)
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage and security principles
Experience with automation tools and scripting (Saltstack, Terraform, PowerShell, Python)
Proven experience designing and maintaining highly available, scalable infrastructure
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team
Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring and collaboration
