This high-impact role combines engineering expertise, customer engagement, bid strategy, and commercial awareness to help secure major opportunities across international markets.

As the primary technical interface between customers, sales teams, and global engineering experts, you will translate project requirements into differentiated, bankable solutions that deliver customer value and strengthen Ming Yang’s market position.

The Opportunity

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant visibility and influence. You will coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, lead customer-facing technical discussions, shape bid strategy, and support the continued growth of Ming Yang’s European business. While the role has no direct reports, it plays a key leadership role through technical expertise, influence, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution development for onshore and offshore wind projects from early-stage feasibility through bidding, contract negotiation, and project execution planning.
• Review customer requirements, identify technical risks and opportunities, and define winning solution strategies.
• Coordinate technical inputs from wind resource, site design, towers, foundations, grid, transportation, installation, O&M, and other specialist teams.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, developers, utilities, engineering consultancies, and key stakeholders.
• Lead technical workshops, bid clarification meetings, and executive-level customer presentations.
• Support commercial negotiations through technical risk assessment, compliance reviews, and value engineering recommendations.
• Drive technical bid coordination across European and global engineering teams.
• Develop solutions that improve project competitiveness, reduce LCOE, and maximize customer value.
• Identify technology, product, and market trends to support future solution development and competitive differentiation.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of technical solution processes.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree preferred in Wind Energy, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience within a wind turbine OEM, renewable energy consultancy, technical advisory organisation, project developer, or technical sales environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting utility-scale wind projects and customer-facing technical activities.
• Strong understanding of wind farm development, turbine technology, wind resource assessment, site suitability, project economics, and bid development.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Chinese language capability is highly beneficial but not required.
