Overview

In this role, you will develop modern backend and frontend applications using C#/.NET and Angular to support scalable software for an international insurance environment. You will work within a cross-functional team to design REST APIs, manage databases, and ensure quality through automated tests. The role involves operating and enhancing applications on Windows Server and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to software architecture and engineering culture, collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital transformation at Hannover Re. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on product quality and delivery.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Develop backend and frontend solutions using C#/.NET and Angular, from APIs to user interfaces
Design, integrate and operate REST APIs and databases (SQL, EF Core) and maintain stable system landscapes
Ensure software quality through unit and integration testing
Operate and optimize applications on Windows Server (IIS) including logging and monitoring
Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Contribute to software architecture and engineering culture in collaboration with team and business stakeholders

Zentrale Anforderungen

Degree in Business Informatics or comparable qualification
Several years of software development experience with C#/.NET and Angular
Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, EF Core) and REST API design including authentication
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and familiarity with clean code, testing, logging and monitoring
Business fluent in German and English
Interest in insurance or financial sector topics (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17)
Strong ability to structure complex requirements and collaborate in a team environment
