Software Test Automation Engineer (d/f/m)

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you design and refine automated regression tests to ensure software reliability across hardware and software systems. You will work within the Software Quality Assurance team in Mannheim, collaborating on test strategies and pipeline integration to accelerate life-science hardware software development. Your work supports AI-assisted testing and fast, stable product releases that enable cutting-edge microscopy and imaging solutions. This role offers hands-on impact in a cross-functional environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Design and implement automated regression tests using Robot Framework and Python
• Deploy and run automated test suites on production hardware systems, analyze results, and report defects via Jira and Zephyr
• Continuously evolve the test automation environment, including framework architecture and tooling
• Integrate AI-assisted testing techniques to boost efficiency and early risk detection
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the development pipeline

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Multiple years of professional experience in software test automation
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python or a similar environment
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking
• Fluent written and spoken English and German
