Software Verification and Validation Engineer (all gender)

In this role you will verify and validate avionic software, ensuring traceability from requirements to test results. You will work within the RISE environment to develop and execute test procedures, perform regression testing, and prepare certification evidence for DO-178C-based safety-critical software. You will troubleshoot using SCADE diagrams and support bug fixes, contributing to safe, compliant flight control software. This is a hands-on position that connects engineering with regulatory compliance, delivering quality for aviation systems.

• Analyze system and software requirements to ensure full traceability
• Analyze change requests and perform defect/root-cause analysis
• Create, execute, and document test procedures on test benches in the RISE environment
• Conduct regression testing and prepare certification evidence and compliance documentation
• Troubleshoot using SCADE diagrams and support bug fixing activities

• Experience with AFCS/Flight Control Systems
• Strong knowledge of SCADE or Simulink and understanding of avionic systems
• Experience with test benches and executing test cases (initialisation, malfunction injections, troubleshooting)
• Worked on Software Verification and Validation (V&V) projects
• Familiar with DO-178C and safety-critical software development
• Business-fluent English
