Solution Architect - SAP S4/HANA Finance (all genders)

As Solution Architect for the LUCA program, you will design and implement SAP finance solutions to standardize and optimize METRO’s financial processes on SAP S/4HANA. You’ll collaborate across finance, process, and IT teams to deliver standardized designs aligned with global templates and compliance standards. You’ll focus on General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and subledgers, driving complex changes from concept through implementation. This role offers impact on a global transformation that enables safer, standardized finance operations. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

• Translate business requirements into practical SAP designs across finance domains
• Lead solutioning for service management and project rollouts from design to implementation
• Ensure alignment with METRO global template, enterprise architecture, and SAP best practices
• Convey technical concepts clearly to executives, business users, and technical teams
• Oversee AMS partner delivery, reviewing transports and documentation per METRO standards

• 10+ years in SAP GL, AA, AP, AR, VIM and DRC
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Finance-focused SAP certifications advantageous
• Retail industry experience preferred
• Excellent English proficiency
