Solution Consultant - Core Banking m/f/d

In this role you will act as the trusted advisor in sales cycles, translating banking needs into compelling solution designs and demonstrations. You’ll work with sales, product, and delivery teams to showcase value, validate technology, and shape pilots into product roadmap inputs. The position centers on shaping core banking solutions for banks globally, addressing emerging trends and regulatory changes. You will drive engagements, deliver tailored demos and workshops, and influence decision-makers with technically sound, business-focused outcomes.

• Drive customer-facing engagements to understand needs and position SAP Fioneer solutions
• Translate complex business requirements into high-impact solution designs
• Identify and assess emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in core and transaction banking
• Drive RFIs/RFPs from a solution perspective with compelling value-based proposals
• Create and deliver tailored demos, proofs-of-concept, and workshops for business and IT stakeholders
• Collaborate with product management to feed successful pilots into the product roadmap
• Convince decision-makers in banks globally with solutions that drive business value
• Provide market feedback to product teams to influence roadmap and innovation focus

• 2-5 years of experience in banking technology, software vendors, or consulting with pre-sales or solution engineering experience
• Strong understanding of banking processes (e.g., deposits, cards, payments)
• Track record in designing and presenting solutions and engaging C-level and senior stakeholders
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills with hands-on mindset
• Excellent English communication; German preferred for DACH engagements
• Familiarity with SAP and/or other core banking systems a plus
