Overview
As Sovereign Cloud Architect & Advisor, you guide customers to modernize IT landscapes with compliant, secure cloud solutions in hybrid environments. You act as a strategic partner, shaping cloud strategy and transformation roadmaps across SAP SCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP. You help ensure regulatory alignment, data sovereignty, and business continuity while building trusted relationships. This role combines advisory leadership with hands-on architecture to accelerate innovation in regulated sectors.

- Define sovereign cloud strategies balancing innovation, security, and compliance
- Build transformation roadmaps from current landscape to future cloud operating model
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across SAP SCI, AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Enable resilient, compliant environments supporting data sovereignty and regulatory needs
- Forge lasting customer relationships as trusted advisor throughout cloud transformation
- 10+ years of customer-facing SAP consulting
- 8+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or SAP implementation
- Strong communication and executive-level engagement skills
- Deep knowledge of SAP solutions, product roadmaps, and dependencies
- Solid expertise in cloud infrastructure and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and SAP SCI; relevant certifications valued
- Extensive SAP technology background including SAP HANA, S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migrations, SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, TOGAF
- Understanding of SAP BTP, integration architectures, cybersecurity, data privacy, and sovereign cloud principles
- Experience in regulated industries or public sector is a plus
- Fluency in German and English; security clearance willingness
- Customer-facing communication and presentation
- Executive and stakeholder engagement
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Cloud infrastructure and platform technologies (virtualization, compute, networking, storage)
- Hybrid/multi-cloud architectures
- Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP Cloud Infrastructure
