Specialist, Quality Assurance

This position supports the QA team as a Quality Specialist (D-A-CH) with strong knowledge and experience in quality management, particularly in electronic quality management systems, across all Cencora 3PL Germany GmbH locations (D-A-CH).

Responsibilities

• Perform operational quality assurance activities at all Cencora 3PL Germany GmbH locations (D-A-CH).
• Support maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with GDP requirements, internal quality standards, change management, and quality-related risk assessments.
• Manage documents: review and maintain quality-related documents and qualification records in the document management system, ensuring regulatory, customer, and internal requirements are met.
• Handle deviations, CAPA & Change Control: investigate quality events (deviations, complaints, CAPAs, and change controls), perform root cause analyses, tracking of actions, effectiveness checks, and timely implementation of quality activities.
• Assist in reporting and KPI management: collect, analyze, and report quality KPIs, perform trend analyses, identify improvement potential and quality risks.
• Support QMS/eQMS implementation and enhancement: process harmonization, documentation, user support, trainings, and adoption of quality system requirements.
• Assist management: prepare quality metrics, reports, and analyses; support assessments, shopfloor activities, and continuous improvement actions.
• Customer and supplier management: assist in supplier qualification, monitoring, and evaluation; support audits, escalations, and handling quality-related questions.
• Validation/Qualification: assist planning, execution, and documentation of validation and qualification activities, including computer system validation, calibration, and qualification of GxP-relevant equipment and systems.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Funded knowledge and experience in quality management, ideally in GDP/GMP environments or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience in handling, root cause analysis, and assessment of deviations; implementation and tracking of CAPAs and change controls, including action management and deadline tracking.
• Auditing experience.
• Practical experience with electronic quality management systems (e.g., MasterControl, Ideagen).
• Very good English skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to undertake travel for external/internal audits and inspections (D-A-CH).
• Strong MS Office skills; openness to digital tools; good analytical and organizational abilities.
• High commitment and flexibility; excellent communication and influencing skills; high attention to detail; results-oriented approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in a natural science, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance/quality management in a regulated and/or service-oriented environment (e.g., GxP/GDP, logistics/distribution) or in a related field.
