Supplier Performance Specialist (Remote - Residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area)

What You Will Do:

  • Identify Bottleneck/Capacity Constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on‑time delivery from suppliers
  • Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance
  • Drive for results, consistently pursuing ways to accomplish goals and objectives that require extraordinary determination, self‑motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy our Customer’s needs
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with
  • Generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, and logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door
  • Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on‑time delivery of parts
  • Effectively drive tasks/projects to completion including Leading Indicator data collection: RM availability and on order, WIP tracking, quality notification closures, and sub‑tier supplier tracking
  • Work with multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously
  • Manage or assist with process improvement projects, prioritize project work, and support the needs of the CORE operating system
  • Utilize project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders
  • Be an active participant in Commodity Days, EMMs and SEMO, and co‑lead with customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective supply chain
  • Must travel up to 80% of the time within the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. On‑site at suppliers 80% of the time; 20% of the time working from home

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A college degree or equivalent experience and five years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with two years of experience
  • Reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area
  • U.S. Citizen – U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in operations, supply chain management, or related field
  • Learns quickly, grasps the essence of what is happening, and can change the course quickly
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and partners outside of team to enable higher performance
  • Openly considers ideas of others, analyzes, and develops innovation to reality
  • Flexible, enthusiastic self‑starter
  • Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams

Salary: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
