Supply Chain Quality Engineer - PCA (m/f/d)

In this role you ensure the manufacturing quality and reliability of PCBA across the outsourced supply chain. You audit and develop PCBA suppliers to meet Advantest’s quality and technology requirements. You implement strategies for continuous process monitoring to consistently deliver high-quality products. You drive resolution of PCBA-level issues with EMS providers and build expertise in PCBA design, production, and automated test. This position offers impact by strengthening supplier collaboration and product quality at scale.

• Assure manufacturing quality and reliability of PCBA across outsourced partners
• Audit and develop PCBA suppliers to meet quality and technology standards
• Develop and implement continuous process monitoring for outsourced PCBA manufacturing
• Drive resolution of technical issues on PCBA level with EMS providers
• Develop, maintain and share expertise in PCBA design, production, and automated test

• In-depth knowledge of PCBA design, manufacturing, and testing
• Ideally IPC A-600 and IPC A-610 specialist certifications
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience with supplier development and supplier audits in the EMS sector
• Process auditing certification (ideally VDA 6.3)
• Strong team spirit, intercultural collaboration, self-management, coordination and communication skills
• Fluent English
• Ability to travel 5–20% of the time
