System Engineer IT Security Vulnerability Management

In this IT Security Engineer role, you will safeguard our IT landscape by analyzing incidents, researching threats, and coordinating containment of cyber threats. You’ll classify threats and close vulnerabilities across networks, storage, cloud, and email, while supporting restoration and continuous monitoring. You’ll plan and implement measures for regulatory IT security compliance and help raise security awareness through workshops and training. • Analyze incidents such as potential cyberattacks for early detection and containment
• Research and classify threats; identify and close vulnerabilities in network, storage, cloud, and email
• Determine causes of attacks; support restoration of affected services; continuously monitor IT systems
• Plan and implement measures to comply with regulatory IT security requirements
• Conceive and deliver security awareness workshops and develop threat models for internal training

• Several years of professional IT security experience in an international environment
• Experience with enterprise networks and cloud environments; implementation and operation of complex network and security solutions
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure: network protocols, scripting, vulnerability management, penetration testing, Windows, Linux, and cloud-based workplaces and servers
• Business-fluent proficiency in German and English
• Strong ability to maintain overview in complex situations with responsibility and drive for innovation
