Overview

In this role you will define and validate environmental test procedures for airborne systems, ensuring DO-160 compliance and traceability across certification lifecycles. You will develop qualification plans and coordinate testing with partners to support EASA, FAA, and military programs. You will produce reports and evidence to demonstrate compliance, while maintaining audit readiness and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. This position offers chance to influence airborne qualification programs within a global engineering leader.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Define and review DO-160 compliant environmental test procedures
Develop environmental qualification test plans (temperature, altitude, vibration, EMI/EMC, etc.)
Plan, coordinate, and support qualification and compliance testing with stakeholders
Prepare test reports, compliance matrices, and certification evidence for EASA/FAA/military programs
Ensure full traceability of requirements, test results, and deviations in DOORS
Coordinate suppliers, test laboratories, and certification teams
Support audits and demonstrate regulatory compliance to customers and authorities

Zentrale Anforderungen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering field
Relevant aerospace/defence industry experience
Strong knowledge of RTCA DO-160
Hands-on environmental qualification testing experience
Experience developing test plans and documenting compliance for airborne systems
Familiarity with EASA, FAA, or military aerospace certification processes
Experience with DOORS and Microsoft Office suite
Independent, structured work style with ownership
Fluent English (C1)
Willingness to meet project security requirements and undergo clearance
