About the Job

As the Team Lead for Procurement Governance, Operations & Service Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with Allianz Technology's procurement standards, managing the performance and compliance of operational procurement processes outsourced to an internal service provider, and managing the relationship with the internal customers served by Global Sourcing & Procurement. You will lead a small team to develop and implement governance frameworks, optimize procurement operations, and manage service delivery.

What you do

• Define and manage Allianz Technology's procurement policy framework in alignment with applicable AZ Group standards.
• Lead the development and implementation of procurement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Allianz Technology's standards and policies.
• Monitor adherence to procurement policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee operational procurement activities (compliance & performance) outsourced to an internal shared service provider, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes and service delivery.
• Financially control service contracts that the central procurement team has with its internal customers to manage Global Sourcing & Procurement balance sheet as an internal service provider.
• Manage the budget of Global Sourcing & Procurement in AZ Technology.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a small team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Proven experience in procurement governance, operations, and service management within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams; experience in procurement is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a main focus on governance‑related activities.
• Studies in Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other technical studies in combination with economics.
