Team Leader Payroll

• Lead and manage a team of 8 payroll specialists.
• Act as the main contact person for payroll software (DATEV) and internal payroll processes.
• Oversee daily payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
• Continuously improve payroll workflows and internal processes to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Support the planning and implementation of digital solutions.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to achieve payroll department growth objectives.
• Work closely with internal departments as a key interface.

Requirements :

• Proven experience leading a payroll team.
• Professional experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of labor law, collective bargaining agreements, payroll tax, and social security regulations.
• Completed commercial/business education or a comparable qualification.
• Proactive mindset with motivation to improve payroll processes through digital solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, independent working style, and customer-oriented approach.
• Willingness to regularly work on-site in Bernau (near Berlin).
• Fluent German (C1), both written and spoken.
