About the Role
Amplity is partnering with an innovative global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing transformative therapies for patients living with rare and neuromuscular diseases.
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Clinical Development Liaison (CDL) to support clinical development activities across Germany. This field-based role combines scientific engagement, clinical trial support, stakeholder management, and leadership responsibilities.
As a CDL, you will serve as a scientific partner to investigators, study sites, and internal stakeholders, supporting study start-up, patient identification, enrollment strategies, and study conduct. As a Team Leader, you will mentor and support a small team of CDLs while ensuring operational excellence and alignment with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with investigators, KOLs, healthcare professionals, and research sites.
- Conduct scientific exchange and provide accurate, balanced information on disease areas, clinical research, and pipeline assets.
- Support study feasibility assessments, site identification, and study start-up activities.
- Facilitate patient identification, referral networks, and enrollment strategies.
- Partner with investigators, clinical operations teams, CROs, and internal stakeholders throughout study conduct.
- Gather and communicate field insights, treatment trends, and investigator feedback.
- Support scientific meetings, advisory boards, congresses, and patient advocacy activities.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a small team of CDLs.
- Act as a key point of contact between the client, Amplity leadership, and field teams.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
- Monitor performance against project goals and KPIs.
- Facilitate collaboration and sharing of best practices across the team.
- Support reporting activities and contribute to operational planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related discipline.
- Advanced scientific degree (Master's, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or clinical research environments.
- Mandatory experience in Rare Diseases and/or Neuromuscular Diseases.
- Neurology experience strongly preferred.
- Experience engaging with KOLs, investigators, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of clinical research and trial execution.
- Previous people management or leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret and discuss scientific and clinical data.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel across Europe and globally as required.
- Full driving licence required.
