Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Production Manager__The working time model for this position is: Onsite, #LI-OnsiteYour Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will lead a high‑performance team in the production of miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and be responsible for their operational excellence. You ensure that individual component parts are processed into high‑quality ABB products under the highest quality and safety standards. As Team Leader Production, you work closely with the Production Manager and help shape a productive, safe, and trusting work environment.You are mainly responsible for:Leading a highly efficient production area with approx. 20–25 employees in a collegial and appreciative working environmentEnsuring smooth 24/6 production operations through shift management, capacity planning, and resource optimizationDriving continuous improvement by identifying optimization potential and leading CIP projects, KAIZEN workshops, and Lean Six Sigma initiativesEmpathic personnel leadership based on guidance, motivation, development, and recruitment of employees – with the goal of unlocking potential and empowering teamsResponsibility for occupational health & safety and quality assurance through implementation and monitoring of all ISO 9000–9004 standards and ensuring a safe and healthy working environmentManaging interfaces in close collaboration with HR, Quality, Production Planning, Engineering, and MaintenanceQualifications for the RoleTechnical QualificationsMaster craftsman certificate or technician degree in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering)• Proven, several years of leadership experience in production or production‑related areas (min. 3 years) • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and fully automated assembly processes • Practical experience with CIP methods and Lean Management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety (ISO 45001)Sound understanding of quality standards and quality requirements (ISO 9000–9004)Desirable Additional Qualifications:Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)Experience with automated production equipmentExperience with plant and robot controls, MES systems, and warehouse management systemsYour Personal SuitabilityAnalytical and quick comprehension combined with high resilienceEmpathic leadership skills with a strong sense of appreciation to support and develop employeesHigh commitment to safety and continuous improvementTeam orientation and collaboration across departmental boundaries• Self‑responsibility and willingness to shape – you proactively drive improvements and take ownership of your area • Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; good English skills are an advantageWillingness to work shifts (alternating early/late shifts) including Saturday work is a structural requirement of this position.
