Team Leader Project Engineering (gn)

Responsibilities

• Disciplinary management of project engineering employees.
• Planning, execution and implementation of assigned customer projects within budget and agreed milestones, including ownership of high‑level technical communication and documentation.
• Development and monitoring of KPIs and reporting indicators for project progress, risk management and earned value; frequent status reporting in coordination with lead engineers, project engineers and program managers.
• Creation, optimisation and completion of processes; introduction of common standards, design principles and regulations to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Project Engineering.
• Maintaining positive company technical ratings by timely upload and coordination of aircraft‑level documentation and tools.
• Leading the technical content creation for customer bids, ensuring that system‑level documentation is accurate and up to date; using requirements‑based engineering and leading internal technical quality checks (e.g., pre‑CDR) before customer gates.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) or a comparable qualification.
• In‑depth, proven experience in aerospace and related production processes.
• Knowledge of aviation industry standards and regulations.
• Structured, responsible, independent, reliable, loyal, motivating and goal‑oriented working style with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Knowledge of project management principles; basic certification is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English skills; German skills are a definite advantage.
• Leadership experience.
