Team Leader Purchasing

Leadership and Development Responsibilities

• Leadership and development of the purchasing team
• Development and establishment of a sustainable, strategically aligned purchasing organization
• Creation of procurement strategies for the sourcing of milled, turned, mechanical, and electronic components
• Monitoring procurement markets, identifying new sourcing channels, and achieving cost optimizations
• Responsibility for contract management in the area of supply and framework agreements including tenders and bid evaluations
• Procurement of capital goods, energy, tools, and purchased parts
• Conducting price and contract negotiations, optimizing purchase prices and procurement quality
• Analysis and implementation of cost reduction potentials as well as inventory optimizations
• Ensuring delivery security and price stability while adhering to quality standards
• Close collaboration with interfaces
• Communication and cooperation with the purchasing organization of HAWE Hydraulik SE

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of solid professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Experience in leading and developing a team is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system is desirable
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
• Good conceptual skills, high initiative, and a strong quality awareness
• High level of teamwork and intercultural competence
• Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
