Vice President, Corporate Development

Overview

In this role you will lead and shape TransPerfect’s growth strategy through buy-side M&A and post-acquisition optimization. You partner with executive leaders to drive disciplined capital allocation, integration, and value creation across global targets. Your work focuses on evaluating targets, structuring transactions, and ensuring synergies are realized through rigorous financial modeling and QoE-driven diligence. This position offers high exposure to cross-functional leadership and strategic transformation in a fast-growing professional services environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Lead end-to-end buy-side M&A execution: target evaluation, valuation, due diligence, and deal processing
  • Develop financial models for transactions
  • Structure deals to optimize capital efficiency, tax positioning, and risk
  • Negotiate purchase agreements and working capital adjustments
  • Present investment cases and financial impact analyses to senior leadership
  • Oversee accounting and financial due diligence across international targets
  • Lead QoE assessments and working capital analyses
  • Ensure proper valuation of intangibles, goodwill recognition, and impairment testing
  • Oversee financial consolidation and harmonization of accounting policies post-acquisition
  • Partner with auditors and advisors for compliant financial reporting
  • Support financial and operational integration of acquired entities
  • Implement KPI frameworks and dashboards to track synergy realization
  • Drive margin improvement and cost optimization across business units
  • Standardize internal controls, reporting structures, and ERP integration
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to scale
  • Monitor acquisition performance against assumptions
  • Evaluate ROIC and long-term value creation metrics
  • Establish capital deployment frameworks
  • Support financing, refinancing, or restructuring initiatives
  • Strengthen enterprise-wide financial controls and risk management practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • CPA required
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate development, M&A, transaction advisory, or private equity-backed environments
  • Deep expertise in buy-side acquisitions including post-acquisition integration
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
