A leading international investment banking platform is seeking a Vice President to join its growing Technology Investment Banking team in Munich.

The firm advises founder‑led businesses, public companies, private equity investors and high‑growth enterprises across a broad range of technology sectors, including software, fintech, technology‑enabled services, digital infrastructure, internet and emerging technologies. The team provides strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, private capital raises, IPOs, debt financings and other corporate finance transactions across the European market.

The Role

As a Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in leading transaction execution and managing client relationships, whilst acting as the key link between senior bankers and junior team members throughout the deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading the execution of complex M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates
• Managing multiple live transaction processes simultaneously and ensuring seamless delivery across all stakeholders
• Acting as a principal day-to-day contact for clients, investors and advisers
• Overseeing the preparation and review of financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
• Managing due diligence processes, virtual data rooms and multi-disciplinary advisory workstreams
• Preparing management presentations, board materials and investor communications
• Supporting senior bankers in business development, client coverage and origination activities
• Mentoring, developing and supervising Analysts and Associates
• Contributing to the continued growth and market presence of the Technology Investment Banking franchise

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated investment banking professional with a strong track record of transaction execution and leadership experience within the technology or broader high‑growth sectors.

Key requirements include:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with an excellent academic record in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• Approximately 5-7 years of relevant experience within investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity or a related corporate finance environment
• Demonstrated experience executing transactions within the technology, software, fintech or broader growth sectors
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction structuring capabilities
• Advanced knowledge of comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, DCF and leveraged buyout methodologies
• Excellent commercial judgement with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into strategic client recommendations
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior professionals
• Excellent client‑fac­ing, presentation and communication skills
• Native or fluent German and professional‑level English are required
