Strategic Initiatives Marketing Manager, Assistant Vice President - State Street Investment Management

In this role you will lead retail investor go-to-market initiatives for Central Europe, focusing on Germany and broader DACH. You will translate strategy into executed campaigns across digital, content and partnerships, driving engagement with self-directed investors. You will work with cross-functional teams to regionalise ETF education and content, ensuring compliance and relevance. The position combines hands-on delivery with regional coordination, aiming to improve campaign effectiveness and content quality. • Execute retail marketing campaigns across digital, content and paid channels, adapting pan-European activity for local markets
• Support ETF education content development, ensuring regionalised, clear and compliant materials for retail investors in Central Europe
• Support content-led engagement including editorial, podcasts and educational series aligned to investor needs
• Activate finfluencer and content partnerships while ensuring brand alignment and regulatory guardrails
• Support marketing across digital wealth platform partnerships, tailoring content to platform environments
• Translate audience insights into targeting, messaging and campaign execution
• Coordinate with SEM and paid social teams to align briefs with campaign objectives
• Support sales enablement with marketing assets and provide performance tracking and test-and-learn opportunities, including AI-enabled improvements
• Ensure all activity complies with BaFin and MiFID II in collaboration with compliance and legal
• Contribute to the Central Europe regional marketing plan across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Collaborate with sales to support integrated campaigns around product launches and key initiatives
• Develop, localise and maintain marketing collateral and digital content for local relevance
• Coordinate cross-market marketing activities, ensuring aligned messaging and governance
• Assist planning, campaign tracking, reporting and budgeting
• Support regional events, roadshows and conferences with sales and events teams
• Coordinate with external partners to support campaign execution and performance evaluation
• Act as a connector across brand, retail, partnerships, digital teams and agencies
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve productivity and output quality and explore agent-based AI to automate repeatable tasks
• Maintain delivery discipline with clear timelines, ownership, stakeholder alignment and regular performance reporting

• Fluent in English and German
• Experience delivering retail or digital marketing campaigns
• Background in ETF, retail investing, wealth or fintech marketing (preferred)
• Understanding of German retail investor behaviour and digital ecosystem
• Experience supporting content partnerships, influencer activity or content-led campaigns
• Experience working in a matrixed or regional organisation
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Data-aware and comfortable using performance insights to inform decisions
• Familiarity with AI tools is an advantage
