Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager - Special Funds

In this role you drive the end-to-end NAV production and oversight for German Special Funds and institutional funds, ensuring accurate accounting, regulatory adherence, and a resilient operating model. You will coordinate with clients, depositaries, custodians, external managers and auditors to deliver migration projects and stable BAU service. The position is in Frankfurt, offering high-impact interaction across stakeholders and opportunities to shape fund accounting operations at scale. You will leverage your German fund accounting and tax expertise to enable compliant, efficient, and automated processes.

• Own the NAV production cycle for Special Funds, including reconciliations, exceptions, and depositary engagement
• Manage client-facing interactions with various stakeholders
• Control fund-related expenses, accruals, and fees (depositary, custody)
• Coordinate subscription/redemption activities for German institutional funds and validate investor records
• Calculate tax amounts with PwC where required and manage tax workflow timing
• Oversee global certificate creation with custody teams and transmission to Clearstream Banking
• Coordinate system connectivity with third-party asset managers
• Ensure timely and accurate booking of all transactions and promote automation
• Monitor transmission quality and escalate issues affecting timeliness
• Run robust incident management: classify errors, notify stakeholders, document fixes
• Operate and oversee CSDR gross/net models in line with mandates

• 12+ years in German institutional fund accounting with deep Special Funds and InvStG expertise; experience leading migrations
• Fluency in German and English
• Adept with system integrations
• Strong control orientation across NAV; audit and regulator-facing experience; Big 4 background/qualifications preferred
• Stakeholder leadership across depositaries, custodians, external managers and auditors; excellent communication and problem-solving
