Job Responsibilities

• Evaluation of the manufacturability of welded joints (metal and plastic) as well as surface treatments using lasers
• Planning of process-specific hardware or the production concept with measures for process assurance
• Responsibility for process development and ensuring process capabilities (inline monitoring systems)
• Support during commissioning and pre-series production as well as assistance in prototype construction
• Advisor and contact person for ME and R&D with deep process understanding

Qualifications

• Extensive process experience as a specialist or project engineer, ideally in the automotive industry
• Training at least as a certified welding specialist, ideally as a certified welding engineer
• Structured, organized, and independent working style
• Ability to convey complex issues in a simple and audience-adapted manner
• Excellent English skills and willingness to travel internationally as well as work in international teams
