Program overview

The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) aims to accelerate the development of early career associates who aspire to become senior leaders in Finance. Through targeted recruitment and diverse rotations over two years, participants gain a well-rounded foundation of technical, functional, and leadership skills. Assignment locations span BD sites, and relocation may be required.

Start date and duration

Start Date: April 2026 – October 2026 (preferred: June 2026). Assessment Center planned for January 2026. Duration: 2 years, with a permanent employment contract upon program completion.

Job description and program experience

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies. Our purpose is Advancing the world of health. The program includes rotations and assignments intended to develop participants in finance roles across the organization.

Rotations within the program may include

• Business planning and analysis
• Operations finance
• Accounting
• Internal audit
• Commercial operations

FLDP experience enhancements

• Business impact — work on challenging assignments across the Finance Organization and BD Businesses, contributing to the bottom line.
• Coaching and development — mentorship from Leadership Advisors and Managers.
• BD future — accelerated leadership path with opportunities after assignments; strategic employment opportunities may exist upon completion.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field (2025–2026).
• Willingness to relocate to pursue rotational opportunities.
• Proven internship experience in Finance; international experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership potential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new environments, handle ambiguity, take initiative, and achieve results.
• Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
