Hi! I’m Benjamin, co-founder of bilateralstimulation.io.
bilateralstimulation.io enables psychotherapists to offer EMDR therapy online.

Today, over 30’000 therapists are using our free web app & our complementary hardware to treat trauma patients globally.

Founded 5 years ago and headquartered in Berlin, the company has grown into a small, remote team and is fully self-funded and profitable.

We are now looking for a hands-on Business Operations Associate. You will take over the day-to-day management of our hardware production and cover parts of our monthly finance & tax filing tasks. In addition, you will own your own projects across different domains such as implementing improvements to our hardware product or optimizing our production & logistics costs.

You will work directly with me (Benjamin) and stakeholders across different areas (e.g. hardware manufacturers, suppliers, tax consultants). You will be able to work remotely and during whichever hours work best for you. If you are based in Berlin, there will also be the option to work together in-person.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Production & Logistics Management: Plan order volumes, coordinate shipments from our manufacturer to warehouses, and act as the main contact for production-related questions.
• Hardware Product Optimization: You will lead several projects to improve the production process of our hardware products. This will increase the reliability of our buzzers and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Accounting & Tax Compliance: Support monthly accounting and coordinate global tax filings.
• Revenue Optimization Projects: Work on initiatives that make it easier for therapists and clients to purchase our buzzers.
• International Logistics Set-up: Help us optimize and scale logistics processes to serve customers worldwide more efficiently.
• Special Projects: Take ownership of cross-functional projects such as insurance setup, conference preparation, or compliance topics, depending on company priorities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in operations and project management in a small organization: You have worked in a small team where you managed projects end to end and delivered clear results. Ideally, you’ve had exposure to operations, production, logistics, or finance.
• Entrepreneurial and ownership mentality: After receiving a project briefing, you take full ownership. You approach problems in a structured way, stay persistent when obstacles arise, and know when to ask for support.
• Full English proficiency: You are confident working in English. German is a plus.
• Independent remote worker: You are based in Europe, thrive in a remote setup, and are comfortable working independently.
• Curious and driven: You bring relevant experience, but remain eager to learn, improve, and take on new challenges.
• Intrinsic Motivation: You want to work with us because you like the product and the vision of the company.
• Long-term mindset: You are looking for a stable role and want to grow with us over the years as bilateralstimulation.io continues to expand.
