Chartering Broker

We are expanding, and we are looking for a Chartering Broker to join our team either in Bergen or Hamburg .

Main responsibilities

Maintain a strong market overview and identify new opportunities, client developments, and trends in terms, conditions, and rates.
Manage your own client portfolio within the short-sea bulk and project cargo segments, including financial results, target setting, and performance reporting.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on long-term contract offers.
Negotiate contracts and shipping terms with brokers, charterers, and agents (including port charges).
Provide the Operations team with all necessary information to ensure concluded freight agreements are executed accurately and in compliance with established internal procedures and systems.
Contribute to the strategic development of Peak CSL Group’s shipping activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor of Arts/shipping (or equivalent); relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
3–5 years of experience within the bulk or project cargo segments.
Strong commercial background from the shipping industry.

Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
