Job Objective
You support the Company’s operations in accordance with the highest quality standards in international ship management while implementing LPSQ (Loss Prevention, Safety, and Quality) and environmental processes across assigned vessels.A key aspect of your role involves applying your technical expertise to ensure that vessels meet the required technical and operational standards. You assess technical conditions, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate on solutions to optimize performance and safety.Investigate incidents and development of relevant reports, providing recommendations for improvements in procedures or working behaviours.You will perform vessel visits to evaluate compliance with LPSQ processes, procedures, and company policies, providing recommendations for any necessary enhancements.
Requirements
Education & Work Experience:
B.Sc. in Marine or Naval Engineering/ Master / Chief Engineer’s CertificateSailing experience as Officer, Engineer or working in a HSEQ / LPSQ function is favorableExperience in offshore section is favorable
Job Specific Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of quality, environmental, and safety standardsStrong understanding of legislation related to quality, safety, and environmental protectionExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven experience in customer management and relationship-buildingIn-depth knowledge of local and regional maritime market conditionsExceptional people management and leadership abilitiesFluency in English and German (both written and spoken)Proficiency in using PC applications and digital toolsSolid technical knowledge related to vessel operations, maintenance, and engineering standards
