Strategic Account Manager, Acquisition - DACH

We are actively seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our growing team. As a member of the Strategic Account Manager Team, you will be responsible for driving exponential, profitable revenue growth by exploring, developing, and winning new customers. You will have the ability to construct and execute a successful business development strategy and manage complex acquisition sales cycles at a senior level. You are an experienced hunter and can motivate others to achieve extraordinary results. You thrive in front of groups and can facilitate closure on large opportunities that would otherwise seem impossible.

Responsibilities

  • Travel up to 50% of your time to meet prospects.
  • Develop new customer relationships and proactively identify and resolve obstacles, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Gain executive buy‑in and negotiate complex contracts with innovative companies.
  • Act as the key liaison between customers and OnLogic’s engineering and product management teams on large‑scale opportunities.
  • Work effectively with OnLogic’s internal engineering, assembly, and fulfillment teams to provide innovative solutions.
  • Work effectively with OnLogic’s technical, business, and procurement decision makers.
  • Build upon market presence in key vertical segments, growing the value and number of key accounts through strategic relationships.

Team

  • Acquisition team: New customer acquisition and business development, prospecting, lead generation, closing deals.
  • Strategic Account Managers: Manage and grow high‑value customer relationships.
  • Sales Operations: Provide exceptional support and ensure customer satisfaction through various channels.
  • Technical Sales: Inside sales team that qualifies and converts leads from global technology innovators.
  • Sales Engineering: Experts who assess customer needs and provide the best solutions.
  • Enterprise accounts & managed partners: Management & growth of key strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education, plus 5+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably in a technical environment and in business development or acquisition.
  • Experience selling complex solutions or technologies into enterprise customers.
  • Experience building new relationships and selling into direct and/or OEM accounts.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive and desire to be part of a rapidly growing business.
  • Organized and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Natural hunter with active listening skills and a demonstrated ability to hold yourself and others accountable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent German and English (C2/C1). A third European language (Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc.) is an advantage.

Who we’re looking for

You have previous senior‑level sales experience and a proven track record of building a book of business by managing and closing complex B2B sales. You are an entrepreneurial problem solver with a solution‑oriented approach to building relationships and selling into business and/or OEM accounts. You possess a natural curiosity and ask the right questions to identify appropriate solutions to fill customers’ needs.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is €100,000 to €150,000 per year (OTE). The final compensation is determined based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles. In addition to a base salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package:
