(Senior)
Credit Analyst - Corporate , you will play a pivotal role in building and operating our lending and Trade Finance business from the ground up. This is your chance to combine sharp analytical skills with hands-on involvement in process design and implementation. You will manage the
origination, execution, and monitoring
of loans and trade facilities for corporate clients, acting as the
1st Line of Defense . Additionally, you’ll collaborate with risk teams and stakeholders across Berlin, Amsterdam, and London to support new product development.
Your Responsibilities: Credit Analysis & Transaction Support:
Conduct in-depth financial and business analysis of corporate clients, prepare credit proposals, and coordinate approvals with Relationship Management, Risk, Legal, and Product teams. Portfolio Oversight & Data Quality:
Monitor exposures, financial performance, covenants, and collateral. Support periodic credit reviews and MI reporting, ensuring compliance with EBA Loan Origination & Monitoring Guidelines. Processes & Tools:
Help implement credit systems, workflows, and data controls. Contribute to financial models and dashboards for automation and portfolio analytics. Collaboration & Governance:
Work closely with 1st and 2nd Line teams to deliver high-quality credit outcomes while ensuring adherence to governance and regulatory standards. New Product Development:
Assist in planning and delivering new banking products and embedding credit procedures into the Bank’s risk framework.
Your Profile: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar; CFA/CEFA or equivalent credit training is a plus. 3–5 years in Corporate or Institutional Banking with solid experience in credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management. Strong knowledge of lending and Trade Finance structures, documentation, and covenant frameworks. Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), with Python/SQL as an advantage. Familiarity with credit systems (Moody’s, Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ) and regulatory standards (EBA, MaRisk). Excellent English; German or Dutch beneficial. High ownership, precision, and ability to deliver under pressure, combined with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
