Senior System Administrator

The SOSi team is growing in Europe and we are looking for a talented and dedicated Data Center Manager to support a program based in Wiesbaden, Germany. SOSi is a family-owned government contractor with a long history of providing technical solutions to customers performing challenging missions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
• Responsible for activities related to system administration.
• Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
• Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
• Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in managing a virtualized environment in a medium or large-scale enterprise that includes ESX, vCenter, Storage or similar storage technologies.
• Must have at least 8+ years of experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, Windows Servers, and DHCP.
• Education: Masters degree with 10 years’ experience or a Bachelors degree with 12 years’ experience.
• IAT Level II certification or equivalent such as Security+ is required.
• Must have a current VMware Certification Version 6 or higher.
• In scope DOD Secret clearance is required.
• ITIL V4 certification or higher.
• Must be approved by the USG and qualify as a Technical Expert under the U.S. SOFA in Germany.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have a valid US passport.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• Fluency in a foreign language desired but not required.
