Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager
Location: Seoul, Korea
Role Summary:
The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex tasks to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role provides expert guidance on technical and operational issues, resolving advanced problems to maintain high customer satisfaction, operating with limited supervision. The role builds effective relationships with internal and external partners, develops comprehensive project plans, and coordinates cross-functional teams. The role analyzes performance data for strategic insights, handles high-level risks and change requests, and oversees the technical integration of products. The role supports presales with technical expertise and ensures effective stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Leads complex project tasks, ensuring all deliverables meet customer expectations within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Engages with customers on technical matters, providing expert guidance and resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Operates with limited supervision, applying independent judgment to drive project success and compliance.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external partners, influencing projects through deep expertise in the area of specialization.
- Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource allocation and milestone achievement.
- Analyzes project performance data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize outcomes and enhance customer value.
- Evaluates project risks and issues, collaborating with project managers to execute effective mitigation strategies.
- Participates in the implementation of complex products and solutions at customer sites, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
- Supports presales activities by offering technical expertise and planning insights to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs.
- Facilitates communication among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and prompt issue resolution.
- Conducts post-project evaluations to gather customer feedback and identify areas for future improvement.
- Consults key clients to understand their technical and business needs, providing strategic recommendations.
- Develops comprehensive technical solutions, including design documentation and testing procedures under general supervision.
- Manages the lifecycle of solution deployment, ensuring successful integration and performance optimization.
- Analyzes unique client requirements to deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Implements methodologies for continuous improvement, leveraging customer feedback and best practices.
- Shares insights and best practices across teams to enhance Philips' service offerings.
- Maintains adherence to configuration management protocols for accuracy and reliability in technical deployments.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate client feedback into enhancements.
- Prepares and presents technical reports and recommendations, addressing system performance and future improvements.
- Provides mentorship and training to empower clients and team members to effectively use their systems.
- Resolves complex technical issues through advanced troubleshooting, offering proactive support for system reliability.
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's/Master in "Information Sciences" with a major in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Microsoft Certified in - MCSE and SQL preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associate preferred
Preferred Experience and additional requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant project management experience.
- Healthcare Informatics-related industries, such as healthcare companies, Hospital information departments or Biomedical Engineering with experience in medical device integration preferred.
- Integrating medical device data into the "Electronic Medical Record" or database.
- Well-versed with medical device data connection, such as patient monitors, ventilators, dialysis devices, and heart-lung bypass devices.
- Comfortable working in the Operating room and Intensive Care Unit environment.
- Strong networking understanding, IP addresses, DHCP, and DNS.
- Firewall whitelisting, VPN setup and TLS 1.2
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory, SSL, and certificate implementation.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL
- Proficiency in HL7 v2.x (pipe-delimited format, e.g., ADT and ORU messages), and increasingly, FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Rhapsody and Corepoint to build and manage message flows.
- Fluent business level English and Korean.
- Willing to travel to customer sites for implementation activities.
