Barthauer Software GmbH develops software solutions for above-ground and underground infrastructure. Our large customer base consists of engineering offices, special-purpose associations, municipal service providers and companies, public utilities as well as industrial companies and airports. To support our customer service team, we are now looking for a communicative support engineer (m/f/d) for CAD/GIS software solutions at our Braunschweig and Lauda-Königshofen sites.

Responsibilities

1. Receiving and recording all IT, program and engineering-related customer enquiries
2. Analyzing and tracking customer inquiries and developing practical solutions
3. Carrying out user training courses and online seminars
4. Documenting your solutions in our customer portals

Qualifications

1. Completed engineering studies, completed training as a technician or a comparable qualification
2. Confident handling of CAD programs and/or GIS systems and ideally knowledge of a database management system (SQL Server/Oracle)
3. Knowledge and experience in the field of urban water management as well as the use of hydraulic calculation software and/or knowledge of supply/disposal technology are advantageous
4. Very good communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact as well as a team-oriented way of working
5. Resourcefulness and creativity in solving technical-analytical tasks, curiosity, and quick acquisition of new know-how
6. Good written and spoken German and English skills
