5G RF System Architect (m/f/d)

In this role you will define and advance the wireless subsystem for next‑gen communication solutions. You will shape concepts and requirements for 4G LTE, 5G NR, and IoT integration, ensuring robust, scalable designs. You’ll lead antenna and RF front‑end work and coordinate cross‑functional teams across RF, hardware, and software domains. • Define and maintain the wireless subsystem architecture for next-generation solutions
• Drive concepts, feasibility studies, and architecture decisions for 4G LTE, 5G NR and IoT integration
• Define system requirements, interfaces, and KPIs for robust, scalable designs
• Lead antenna and RF front-end integration and ensure optimal interaction between components
• Optimize RF performance, coverage, reliability, and overall system efficiency
• Support hardware development through all prototype phases from concept validation to product maturity
• Contribute to certification and compliance with regulatory standards
• Guide technical decision-making across RF, hardware and software while aligning cross-functional teams

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Several years of experience in wireless communication systems, ideally in cellular or mission-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of 4G LTE, 5G NR, and IoT connectivity solutions
• Proven experience in wireless system architecture and requirements engineering
• Hands-on expertise with antenna systems, RF front-end architectures, and RF integration
• Knowledge of wireless regulatory standards, certification processes, and compliance
• Experience with KPI definition, RF measurements, troubleshooting, and system validation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluent English; German a plus
