AI Lead Engineer (f/m/d)

As a key technical driver, you design scalable AI architectures and own secure integration into IT landscapes. You lead AI projects end-to-end from concept to production, selecting suitable technologies and patterns. You monitor and optimize MLOps, ensuring robust pipelines and live performance. As a people leader, you mentor AI professionals and collaborate with leadership to advance AI initiatives. • Design scalable AI architectures and ensure secure integration into IT landscapes
• Own AI projects from concept to production, selecting technologies, frameworks and patterns
• Develop and monitor MLOps pipelines with CI/CD to maintain live performance
• Manage a team of AI professionals and data scientists; conduct development conversations
• Provide technical mentoring and knowledge sharing; partner with AI leadership and business units to drive initiatives

• degree in computer science, data science or a comparable field
• experience in developing and operating production-grade AI or software solutions
• proven leadership skills in growing teams and building high-performing groups
• Python, Azure (cloud environments), MLOps tooling and API development
• ideally experience with generative AI, agentic technologies; solid solution architecture understanding
• ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences; fluent in English; basic German a plus
