Analog IC Design Manager m/f/d

As IC Design Manager at TI, you lead mixed-signal design and layout teams to bring precision ICs with high-resolution ADCs/DACs, amplifiers, references, and power-management into production. You translate product needs into executable design plans, drive rigorous execution, and ensure high-quality silicon on schedule. You will shape best practices across simulation, layout, and sign-off while supporting post-silicon validation and customer-facing inquiries. • Provide day-to-day technical oversight for analog and mixed-signal teams
• Lead design reviews and promote robust design practices for high first-pass yields
• Translate specifications with system architects into actionable design and layout plans
• Improve simulation, layout planning, characterization, and design sign-off processes
• Support post-silicon debug and timely release to market
• Assist quality engineering and field teams with issue resolution
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, layouters, and team leads
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster career growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, validation, test, and product engineering
• Drive talent pipeline and team capability building, share best practices globally
• Own end-to-end execution of multiple analog/mixed-signal programs from spec to tape-out
• Develop and manage detailed design, verification, layout plans, resources, and schedules
• Identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks; maintain on-time tape-outs
• Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of analog and/or mixed-signal IC design experience
• 5+ years of engineering management or technical lead experience
• Strong hands-on background in analog/mixed-signal design (data converters, amplifiers, references, switching power)
• Proven track record of on-time tape-outs and successful product releases
• Solid understanding of full IC development cycle: design, simulation, layout, verification, bring-up, characterization
