Associate, Debt Capital Solutions (Debt Advisory) – Corporates

In this role, you join Houlihan Lokey’s Debt Advisory within the Capital Solutions group in Frankfurt. You will lead selected deal workstreams and contribute to financing advisories across the capital structure for corporate clients. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients, shaping terms and presenting financial analysis to support execution. The position offers high exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to work on a range of debt instruments and cross-border engagements.

• Lead selected transaction workstreams and support day-to-day financing advisory execution
• Coordinate and lead internal deal teams on CIMs, management presentations, marketing materials, and client deliverables
• Support analysis and negotiation of financing terms and documentation, and formulate client recommendations
• Prepare and present historical and projected financial models for ongoing engagements
• Assist in originating new client engagements across jurisdictions, industries, and situations
• Support relationship coverage of active debt investors (banks, credit funds, etc.)
• Coordinate third-party workstreams with other advisors and perform due diligence
• Mentor and support junior analysts

• 3–4 years in Debt Advisory, Rating Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, or a similar role
• Strong financial modelling, financial analysis, and research skills
• Fluency in German and English; advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
