Financial Analyst, Debt Capital Solutions (Debt Advisory) – Sponsor Finance Team

In this role, you support sponsor-financed transactions within Houlihan Lokey’s Debt Capital Solutions team in Frankfurt, focusing on private equity-backed companies across the DACH region. You will help execute financing mandates, prepare client materials, and model historical and projected financials to inform deal decisions. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and external advisors in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role offers visibility to senior professionals and a direct impact on client outcomes.

• Support daily financing advisory mandates including acquisitions and refinancings
• Prepare CIMs, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Assist in negotiating terms and reviewing financing documentation
• Develop and present financial models (historical and projections)
• Support business development and pitch materials for new engagements
• Coordinate with lenders, investors, and third-party advisers; assist due diligence processes
• Maintain client relationship coverage with banks, credit funds, and alternative asset managers

• Strong academic track record
• Internships in Debt Advisory, Leveraged or Structured Finance, or similar roles
• Fundamental understanding of valuation methodologies
• Financial modelling and analytical abilities; strong LBO and DCF skills
• Financial statements analysis with ability to assess key assumptions and caveats
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, independence in a fast-paced setting
