Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS Infrastructure) (f/m/d)

As Cloud Solutions Architect, you drive secure, scalable AWS-based infrastructure designs for Genedata’s cloud-enabled biopharma platform. You work with pre-sales and delivery teams to translate customer needs into practical solutions, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational readiness. You’ll engage with customers onsite in Munich, influence technical standards, and help accelerate life sciences R&D through intelligent cloud architecture and automation.

• Provide technical input in customer discussions and explain complex architecture to diverse stakeholders
• Collaborate with business, pre-sales, and delivery to translate requirements into well-architected solutions balancing security, performance, and supportability
• Plan, configure, and support cloud deployments of Genedata products in customer environments with emphasis on security and operations
• Contribute to IT infrastructure validation at customer sites ensuring regulatory and client compliance
• Support IT and Product teams to design secure, scalable, highly available cloud architectures focused on AWS, resilience, and operational excellence

• 3+ years in cloud, infrastructure, or systems engineering or similar roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows
• Proven ability in a service/technical communications role, producing clear architecture and deployment diagrams
• Practical experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation (scripting, configuration management, CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Extensive hands-on AWS design/deployment experience (networking, compute, storage, IAM, security); AWS certification strongly preferred
• Nice to have: experience with ITSM/helpdesk tools and customer-facing delivery in regulated/enterprise environments
