Country Medical Director, Germany

As Country Medical Director for Germany, you lead BeOne’s Medical Affairs strategy and governance, aligning local efforts with European and Global priorities. You act as the senior scientific voice for Germany, shaping medical strategy, evidence-generation plans, and cross-functional collaboration to support marketed products and development programs. You drive scientific excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic stakeholder engagement to advance patient access and scientific integrity. • Lead the Germany Medical Affairs organization and govern local medical strategy and evidence plans
• Serve as senior scientific leader in the German leadership team, providing strategic guidance
• Ensure compliance with German, regional, and corporate directives for promotional materials and medical information
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Corporate Affairs
• Contribute to European Medical Affairs leadership forums and align regional strategy
• Oversee medical strategy, communications, resources, and budget to deliver Medical Plans while preserving scientific independence
• Endorse local evidence-generation activities (IITs, HEOR) for reimbursement and access discussions
• Provide medical input to R&D and lifecycle management, ensuring timely perspectives for regional/global plans
• Guide Country Medical TA Leads and Field Medical Teams for high-quality scientific exchange
• Provide senior scientific leadership across safety, regulatory, local clinical development, and cross-functional alignment
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders
• Lead country-level medical forums (advisory boards, educational meetings) with scientific rigor
• Provide executive medical oversight of promotional and learning materials, focusing on strategy and risk mitigation
• Act as senior medical spokesperson for BeOne products in Germany, coordinating with Corporate Communications
• Recommend and govern country-level medical activities and investments in line with regional/global strategy

• M.D. with extensive experience in hematology and oncology therapeutics in solid tumor and hematologic indications
• 7+ years in oncology with proven track record as country medical director contributing to commercial, medical, and/or clinical development strategies
• Strong peer relationships with external scientific and clinical experts and KOLs; ability to engage internal/external leaders as a medical expert
• Understanding of local and global commercial and scientific needs, and familiarity with EU regulatory actions
• Recognized expertise in clinical/research work in oncology; oncology specialty training preferred
• Proven ability to align commercial and scientific goals and interact with commercial and scientific colleagues
• Highest ethical standards in corporate medical governance
• Experience delivering persuasive communications to management and scientific audiences
• Track record of cross-functional planning, collaboration, and solution building
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-organizational collaboration
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English and German; additional European languages a plus
