Customer Engineer, Platform, Software and Media, DACH (German)

In this role you will partner with sales and technical teams to articulate the value of Google Cloud Platform across the portfolio. You will fuse cloud-native architecture, programming, and solutions consulting to deliver demos, pilots, and workshops that drive technical wins. You will architect cross-pillar solutions and define delivery and consumption plans for customers, guiding the post-sales handoff to implementation. You will monitor progress against the delivery plan and support cross-functional teams through ramp, delivery, and migration. This role places you at the heart of customer transformation, enabling scalable cloud adoption and strategic workloads.

• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy for targeted sales motions
• Demonstrate value of Google Cloud Platform via demos, pilots, and workshops
• Architect cross-pillar cloud solutions and define initial delivery plans
• Lead the technical engagement in the solution phase
• Support post-sales pricing activities and transition delivery plan to implementation teams
• Monitor progress against the delivery plan and assist cross-functional teams through ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization
• Programming, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops
• Experience in a technical (pre)sales/consulting role
• Experience presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders
• Ability to communicate fluently in German
